A two‑week immersion that pairs Assam’s UNESCO wildlife with village life across Meghalaya and Nagaland. Track rhinos and elephants on riverine grasslands, ferry to satras on Majuli, walk sacred groves and living root bridges, then share hearth‑cooked meals and craft stories in Khasi and Naga hamlets—timed to add a local mela or festival when possible.

Day 1 — Arrive Guwahati
Airport pickup; optional Brahmaputra cruise and local bazaar walk; overnight in Guwahati.

Day 2 — Guwahati to Manas
Drive along Bhutan foothills to Manas; check in near Bansbari; sunset birding by the grasslands.

Day 3 — Manas Safaris
Dawn elephant (as available) plus long jeep to Mathanguri on the Manas River; golden langur and foothill bird chances.

Day 4 — Manas to Kaziranga
Transfer to Kaziranga via tea belts; check in; cultural evening at Orchid & Biodiversity Park time‑permitting.

Day 5 — Kaziranga Central/Western
Elephant safari at dawn plus jeep rounds across prime rhino and elephant ranges; village/tea walk at dusk.

Day 6 — Kaziranga Eastern Birding
Wetland birding and floodplain views; optional second jeep or river island sunset session; overnight Kaziranga.

Day 7 — Jorhat to Majuli
Neemati Ghat ferry to Majuli; satra rituals, mask‑makers, Mishing stilt villages; homestay by the river.

Return ferry and long hill drive to the Khasi capital; café crawl or Ward’s Lake stroll; overnight Shillong.

Day 9 — Sohra Waterfalls & Caves
Nohkalikai views, Mawsmai/Arwah caves, and canyon lookouts; optional double‑decker bridge trek (time/fitness permitting).

Asia’s clean‑village walk with Riwai root bridge; crystal Umngot boating in Dawki; back to Shillong.

Enter Naga Hills; evening food trail in Kohima; overnight in heritage homestay or lodge.
