Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls en route; Sohra’s Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai/Arwah caves, and canyon viewpoints; back to Shillong.

Long scenic drive to Bhutan’s gateway; immigration formalities; evening at leisure; overnight Phuentsholing.

Ascend through forested bends to Bhutan’s capital; clock tower square walk and craft shops; overnight Thimphu.

Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, and Tashichho Dzong exteriors; folk heritage/crafts school as time allows; drive to Paro by evening.
